The quick answer is Yes.
Studies have shown that the coronavirus virus does not live for more than 24 hours on cardboard surfaces and no more than 72 hours on any other surface.
For ultimate protection based on the guidance from the New England Journal of Medicine, once delivered, you can let your package sit for 24 hours if it is a box or for 72 hours if it's delivered in one of our plastic shipping bags.
If you cannot allow your packages to sit outside for more than 24-72 hours due to weather, or potential for theft, we urge you to practice caution and follow CDC guidelines in regards to handling surfaces that may have been exposed to the virus.
If you must bring the package indoors we recommend handling not only ours but all deliveries with gloves while wearing a mask and open your delivery in a room that you do not use frequently like a mudroom, garage or laundry room.
Remember to wash your hands thoroughly after handling all packages and disinfect any other surfaces that may have come in contact with the package.
